Audi quattro Winter Games

23 August 2017

The volunteer pool is getting younger and younger in Wanaka. MAC ‘Students in the Community’ are
coming to the rescue, stepping up to train as the gate marshal team up at Treble Cone for the Para
Snowboard Banked Slalom World Cup on 1st – 2nd September as part of the Audi quattro Winter Games
NZ.

If you’re keen to catch the MAC Kapa Haka group welcoming the top international Freeski and Snowboard athletes, head to Cardrona for the Slopestyle and Half Pipe World Cup Finals on 27th August, 1st, 4th and 9th September.

Many of the Snow Sports NZ Freeski and Snowboard athletes are past and present MAC students. The
Games offer them an opportunity to compete against the best of the best before the Olympics in South Korea, February 2018.

The Audi quattro Winter Games NZ opens at Coronet Peak on Friday 25th August and closes two weeks later on Saturday 9th September at Cardrona Alpine Resort.

All events are free to watch on the mountain. Keep up to date with the schedule here www.wintergamesnz.
