Wanaka A & P Show

This year’s Wanaka A&P Show is fast approaching and volunteers are being sought to help make this year’s event a success.

Event Manager Jane Stalker says, “The Wanaka A&P Show is an important rural and community event run by a non-profit society. It was with great pleasure after
the 2017 Show we contributed around $100,000 back
to community groups and organisations for their
involvement in the show.”

“The longevity and continued success of the show is based on these mutually beneficial relationships
within the community.”

“The support we get in the Home Industry, Jack Russell Race and the Livestock competitions is unfaltering. We love seeing the commitment from the surrounding schools in getting the kids to produce outstanding art and crafts. We appreciate the hours of training that go into competing in the equestrian events.”

“We are proud to produce a show of national significance, injecting more than 11 million worth of direct economic benefits to the area.”

The Wanaka A&P Show is held at the Wanaka Showgrounds on Ardmore Street – gates open 8am-
5pm on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 March. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wanakashow.co.nz

Early bird price $12.50 until the 5th March or at the gate for $15.00 per adult per day. A youth pass (13-17 years) is $5 and children aged 12 and under are free.

Free Park n’ Ride is available on the reserved land across from the Medical Centre on Cardrona Valley
Road. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes delivering you to the gate between 8.00am-5pm.
