Wanaka Trail Ride
With less than two weeks to go until the fourth annual Wanaka Trail Ride, excitement is building for trail riders around the South Island. Months of planning and preparation has gone into the event, ensuring it’s going to be a fantastic day out for everyone involved. Organisers look forward to welcoming up to 1,000
riders on Sunday 22 April.
This is a significant fundraising opportunity for Wanaka Primary School and Montessori Children’s House
Wanaka. Both schools have seen some great additions to their educational spaces in both the internal and external environment. Montessori Managing Teacher, Anne-Marie Love feels, “Very fortunate to be a part of such an amazing fundraising opportunity. This event involves a whole team, with diverse skills working
towards one common goal”.
Ride: Online pre-registration is open now on the website! Pre-registration means you can take advantage
of better pricing options, and it saves you time with the opportunity to collect your rider pack pre-event. Preregistration prices for adults are $65 (including lunch) or $55 (excluding lunch). Prices for junior riders are $20 (including lunch) and $10 (excluding lunch).
Volunteer: Entirely run by volunteers, there are still a few essential roles that need to be filled - and you don’t need to know a thing about motorbikes! If you can spare some time on 22 April to help raise funds for our local kids please head to the website or contact Gillian on 021 500 394 - we would love to have you out there!
